NEA is looking for an Executive Assistant.
Provides confidential and other secretarial and administrative support for the General Manager and Line Superintendent.
Provides special services and information for the Board of Directors and its committees in specially assigned areas.
Services as office point of contact in absence of General Manager, with decision making authority and responsibility.
Regularly Performed Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinates with department heads and the General Manager, assists in developing and evaluating programs, policies, methods and procedures, assist with work plans and budget planning.
Handles business and confidential mail, writes routine correspondence on own initiative, and processes electronic communication for the General Manger and Line Superintendent. Maintains all General Manager’s files, uses spreadsheets, print graphs and Macros. Receives calls and visitors. Performs notary functions.
Prepares all materials for Board Meetings, including agenda and mailings. Transcribes and maintains all Board and Committee minutes, also Board Policies and news releases.
Coordinates and completes the application process for loans as necessary and forwards relevant formation to the co-op attorney.
Receives and complies all reimbursement vouchers for Directors and complies data necessary for 1099 forms for Board Members.
Review all incoming orders from regulatory commissions to determine if relevant to NEA.
Supervise and cross train select office employees based on experience. Cross train with payroll. Responsible for check signing.
Performs any other duties as assigned.
Coordinates and directs necessary preparation for Annual Meeting including election activities and Articles of Incorporation or Bylaw change needs, notices, scheduling facilities, speakers, etc.
Takes turn as assigned by the General Manager to serve as the management representative on the Joint Safety Team.
Recognize and reward teams and individuals as appropriate. Address and coordinate with departments and individuals on discrepancies pertaining to performance and expectations.

Current customer base includes residential, small commercial, irrigation, and oil field work. Current staffing includes 1 apprentice and 1 journeyman. Job responsibilities include supervision of the department, scheduling, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Must be licensed master electrician in WY.
